Johann von Goisern spectacles have been manufactured in the Austrian Salzkammergut for over 37 years. The name "Johann" refers to the founder of the company (Johann Pomberger) and "Goisern" to the location of the eyewear manufacture, which has been the same since the beginning: Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt.

The Johann von Goisern sub-collections form the largest multi-layer acetate eyewear collection in the world. With over 115 models in 570 different colours, each frame is a unique tribute to the flora and fauna of the Upper Austrian Salzkammergut.
